Announcing a New Group

The next AMP NOLA men’s group meeting will be on August 16th from 7pm to 9pm at the Village Coffee on the corner of Freret St. and Jefferson.

Who is AMP NOLA?
We are a community of men who are motivated to explore what it means to be true to ourselves. We are determined to break the illusions that prevent us from fully living the lives we want to live. Our shared trust, respect and purpose creates an energy that propels us towards our goals of being who we want to be and, in turn, making a meaningful difference in the world. We see the concepts of Authenticity, Masculinity and Purpose as areas that will benefit from serious philosophical exploration with the goal of our members amplifying and refining these crucial factors in their own lives.

Who can attend?

AMP NOLA is open to any man who has a serious desire to explore these issues in a group setting and there is no cost to attend. For more information please contact us by e-mail at: ampnola@gmail.com
by phone at: Mark (481-2099) or Thomas (813-1457)

Creative Writing Workshop

Dear NOLA Readers and Writers,

September is on the horizon, thank goodness, time to get organized. A new creative writing workshop will start on Tuesday, September 13th, 7-9:00 pm. We’ll meet once a week for six weeks, and the cost is $240.00. You’re welcome to bring work-in-progress if you like, or just bring a notebook and pen to start a new project.

There is more information on the website. You are also welcome to call me at the number below. If you are interested in registering for the class, please let me know. Or if you know someone who might like the workshop, I’d be grateful if you forwarded this email. If you’d like to be removed from the mailing list, just send a reply and I’ll take care of it.

In the meanwhile, stick to the shade and iced tea.

Bye for now,
Constance Adler
